The book was created during a booksprint co-hosted by UCL Qatar and Qatar University Library in the end of September in Doha. The International GLAM Labs Community was born in 2018 at an event on global ‘Library Labs’ held by the British Library. The community has now grown to 250 people, from more than 60 institutions, in over 30 countries. The book answers the need to capture current practice – in all the spectrum from successes to approaches which do not work – and to share with everyone who is passionate about innovation in the Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums!
